Les règles de l’art is a sculpture created in 1998 and censored at its first public showing. It was followed by Censure, À ma mère, and later by the story of La clef.
Les règles de l’art and Censure are equipped with pump systems that circulate red-tinted water, flowing respectively from the vagina and the severed hand.
L’oiseau rose is equipped with a detection system. When someone passes in front of its photoelectric sensor, a pre-recorded message is played. During an exhibition in 1998, L’oiseau rose said, “Me, me, me”. At another exhibition, it whistled The Internationale, and so on…
In 2003, birds nested in La tête au couteau.
